Confidence In The Cloud
Proverbs 3:26 (KJV)
26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
God will be your confidence and will be your guide to keep you from falling. The English meaning of confidence is a feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on someone or something. (1) The Hebrew word is batach that means secure, security, trust, which they trust, who are the trust, and whom you trust. (2)
There are always two prevailing forces that we deal with in every situation we are faced. We are in the world; therefore, the external or the natural force is normally the first force which we deal with daily. Secondly, though we are in the world we are not of this world, we must deal with the inner force or the spiritual force. We always must go back to the root or the foundational principles of how we can be victorious over every situation that we encounter. It is the human responsibility principle first and then we can expect the divine intervention of the spiritual principle. How you build your inner man will always determine your outcome.
The modern church is falling into a greater degree of a “watered down religion philosophy”. They are practicing deception from the pulpit teaching that you can receive the promises of God doing whatever you want to do. “NOT SO!”
As we study and meditate, we are encouraged through the word of God that He is in whom we can rely on and put our trust. You can only rely on in whom you know. God wants desperately for us to know Him. He wants to be your “cloud”! He is power in the cloud. He is strength in the cloud. He is the love in the cloud. He is the longsuffering in the cloud. He is the security in the cloud . He is the joy in the cloud. He is peace in the cloud. He is meekness in the cloud. He is the goodness in the cloud. The awesome presence of God is in the cloud! He is the only one who can be ALL you need naturally and spiritually. Go into the cloud!
Therefore, let us hold onto the confidence in God because that is where your promise of reward awaits you. (Hebrew 10:35-36 paraphrased)
